Bachmann OO J71 Tank with DCC Sound and Stay-Alive

Kit: MS581G

Almost identical to the J72 model, a fairly simple install for DCC Sound, and space above the decoder for the pair of mini GoldCaps that come with the 'G' version of the MS581 decoder for stay-alive.

The factory-fit 15x11mm speaker is reasonable, and too difficult to upgrade without major surgery, so we leave that alone.

MS581 plugs in with its' GoldCaps neatly attached above.
