Bachmann OO Ivatt 2MT 2-6-0

Kit: MS480/MS481; SugarCube24X15X08; STACO1

This edition of Bachmann 2-6-0 Ivatt 2MT has an 8pin DCC socket in the tender, so what can we squeeze there...?

Take off the supressors, but we'll retain the 8pin socket.

With the supressors gone, we have to add link wires to complete the connection.

Kit prepared - MS480/481 with dual SugarCube24X15X08 and a Zimo STACO1 kit for stay-alive.

GoldCaps and STACO PCB protected with Kapton tape.

We have to cut the coal load area to make space for the speaker, but well worthwhile the effort.

The original coal load fits back in place, secured with a little BlackTack. We'll sprinkle some coal onto this anyway to complete the picture.
