Hard-Wiring a DCC Decoder (into a modern isolated model)

Please refer to the guide on Removal of DCC Sockets for details of how to hard-wire a decoder - much of the information is the same.

Just remember the decoder wire colours:

RED - track pickup - by convention, the right side of the loco (although it doesn't actually matter)
BLACK - track pickup - by convention, the left side of the loco (although it doesn't actually matter)
ORANGE - left-side of motor terminal
GREY - right-side of motor terminal (switch orange/grey around if loco runs backwards)
