The locomotive and/or coaches themselves.
|

Almost all
products I supply are brand new items, and so will come in a pristine-conditioned
original box and original manufacturer's packaging. Where this is not
the case, it will be made clear in any listings.
For locos
which include smoke units, I will often 'modify' the polystyrene mould
if appropriate so that the smoke oil capsule and syringe can be housed
too. The mould may also need to be modified to comfortably fit any lamps
fitted too.
|

Where a loco
originally came with additional accessories, such as brake-assemblies,
pipes etc, these will be included exactly as supplied by the manufacturer.
Where crew were supplied by the manufacturer, I will usualy use those
crew figures to populate the cabin.
I will not
normally fit the optional accessories, unless you explicitly request it
after placing an order - normally at no extra charge.

Most new locos from Hornby and Bachmann come with 1 or 2 instruction leaflets
or certificates. I will include these with your package.
|

Each loco
I produce is shipped with some additional instructions on how to use and
maintain your model, with various hints and tips that I have found useful
over the years.
|

With each model that I customise, I produce a unique certificate, detailing
exactly what you get in the package, along with a unique reference code
which includes the build-date of the work.

|

For each loco fitted with a CT SL51-4 or SL75 decoder, I will supply a complete
list of the CVs and their values as supplied in your specific model.
|

For locos fitted with a CT SL51-4 or SL75 decoder, I also supply an Extended Function
Mapping table leaflet which shows how to map the various functions of the decoder using CV values.
This document is specific to your loco and shows exactly how the functions are mapped as supplied by me.
|

With each loco I include a Quick Reference guide, which is a 1-page guide giving
you the Function Keys and their usage, as well as some important information
on how to look after your loco. If you read nothing else in the package
at all, you SHOULD READ THIS LEAFLET!

Where possible
I will supply the original manufacturer's leaflet/manual for the decoder
installed. This will include details of CVs as well as general information
about the decoder.
In the case
of CT Elektronik's SL51-4
or SL75 decoders (which I use most commonly for sound installations),
there is no English manual available from CT, so instead I include a version
of the manual which I have translated myself. This is not endorsed
by CT, and so may not be 100% accurate, or perfectly translated, but I
hope it will serve as a starting point! From time-to-time I update these
documents, which can always be found on this website in the 'Resources'
section.

For locos with Seuthe smoke units fitted, I will supply the Seuthe instruction
leaflet for your reference.
I will supply a 10ml ampule of smoke oil
to get you started. This is plenty enough to keep you going for some time.
You can then purchase additional smoke oil from various suppliers. I recommend
DCC Supplies or
Express Models
or I can supply more oil directly if you prefer.
I will supply a suitable syringe which you
will require for extracting smoke oil from the bottle and inserting into
the smoke unit. The YouChoos Care Guide provides details
on how to do this carefully and safely.
